What should I get for a NEW computer?

 

Windows 7, Mac, iPad or Android Tablet computer?

If you get a tablet or iPad they are intended to operate independently with WiFi or 3G/4G, there is little need to transfer programs or documents from your other computers. Tablets and iPads share files, music and pictures thru cloud Apps and Services from your other computers. Windows and Mac computers you usually want to transfer files, documents, pictures, music and videos to the new computer because your usually replacing them with the upgrade. I recommend that my customers schedule an appointment to bring the “New and Old Computer” to the shop for this. You can be limited trying to do it from home and can run into many unforeseen complications trying to do this yourself.
In-Shop transfer Advantages are:
-Fast Internet connection to do any updates or downloads
-Lower hourly In-Shop Rates $60/hr. (usually only 1 – 1 1/2 hr. charge, only the time I have to spend on going to next step, your not charged for time waiting for downloads, updates, scans or file transfers) Big savings.
-Pick-up “New Computer” and go over it to make sure all is done to customers satisfaction.
